I am also involved with the Center for Social Concern, Residential Life, and the JHU Admissions Access and Diversity Board. I was welcomed into the Church as a newly-baptized and confirmed Catholic this past Easter—I am so excited to grow with the Catholic Community at Hopkins and to see this group grow as well!

Hey there! My name is Jaime Martinez, and I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you as the President of the CCH, our remarkable Catholic community here at Johns Hopkins University. I am a senior hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, pursuing a degree in Public Health and International Studies, with a minor in French. Advocating for the marginalized and underrepresented through policy and public service drives me, and you can frequently catch me speaking out on the issues I care about and rounding up support for a cause. During my leisure hours, I find joy in embarking on very long hikes, watching movies, experiencing the thrill of roller coasters, engaging in profound conversations, and cherishing the company of my friends. CCH has been a transformative experience for me in all areas of my life — I sincerely hope that your involvement in this Catholic community enriches your time at Hopkins and leaves a lasting impact beyond your time here at the Nest!
